Time is right to finally share this beautiful video for “Daisy”, a song recorded back in 2012. The video is by the amazing Mel Maduro @MelMaduro and Solis Animation @SolisAnimation. To accompany this video, we’re also releasing the EP Money That I Had That I Owed. A little 6 pack with a couple of throwbacks.

Not to pile onto the top line of every email you’ve likely received in the last 5 weeks, but first off we hope you and your loved ones are keeping safe and healthy in these strange times. One thing is for sure, weird times call for wyrd measures and it is with great joy that we are able to share with you the release of our most recent album Kidding On The Square. While the short run pressing of the album and release show have been indefinitely delayed due to the world, we hope you will be able to enjoy the soothing sounds of this piledriving, top turnbuckle climbing, shit kicking record.
Special thanks to John Critchley from Green Door Studios for his patience, impeccable suggestions, and all around good dudeness. John engineered, mixed, and co-produced the album along with some other nugs we’ll be dropping soon. Thank you to Lucas Prokaziuk for mastering both the digital and vinyl release. Lastly a most sincere debt of eternal gratitude to Logan McNeil for his support, encouragement, and oh yeah the simply stunning album artwork and layout.
We’ll see you on the other side.
love, LOCO 8
ps: available now wherever you listen to music… physical copies en route
Here is our new video Directed and Animated by the incredible Sean Janisse, with Art Direction by Andres Landazábal. We feel tremendously honoured and privileged to have been a part of this project. We’ll also be playing this tune in our set this Friday, Feb 23rd at the Monarch Tavern supporting Josh Mover & The Shakers debut EP release Into A Ghost.
Holy Snappers hot dogs it’s been a minute. We’ve got some exciting news for the New Year. We’re currently finishing the mixes on our next record slated for a release in the early Spring. We’ve been working with John Critchley over at his Green Door studio. John’s co-producing the record so expect something a little different from our traditional no-fi/yes-wave soundz. We will also be releasing an EP ahead of the album later this winter in conjunction with the release of our latest music video “Encore” - directed and animated by Sean Janisse.
